John Schroder has 20 years of experience providing satellite & telecommunications solutions, policies and strategic input to the Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, Energy, State; US Army; USAF, USMC and FMS (ADF & Canadian LFPST); other federal, state, and local government agencies; and private sector clients. He has focused on identifying practical ways of reducing government spending by increasing efficiencies. John served as an effective nexus, advising private firms and US government agencies on cybersecurity and IT operations and strategies.
Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Army Programs at Tampa Microwave, Inc., where he led a team that designed US Army telecommunications solutions, and provided strategic support to the US Army communications infrastructure, resulting in 20% reduction in training and logistic costs for the US Army.
As Director of Sales for Army & Air Force Programs for Harris Caprock Communications, John managed relationships within the USAF and US Army to connect complex government requirements to industry capabilities. John provided similar services through other senior level business development positions with Intelsat General Corporation, Inmarsat, Iridium LLC, Verizon, MCI, and Sprint.
John received a BS in Economics from the Catholic University of America.
